Jay-Z reportedly held a bachelor party in Canada on Wednesday (02.04.08) ahead of his rumoured wedding to Beyonce Knowles.

The record executive mogul threw a private party at Toronto hotspot Lobby after performing in the city, but onlookers said it looked more extravagant than a standard bash.

One onlooker commented: "It looked like a bachelor party because soon the doors were closed to all but the immediate guests. Jay-Z was laughing and happy and talking to everyone around him. It was amazing how many girls were flirting with him, but he was just being nice to everyone."

During the "Earth Hour" event on March 29, skylines around the world went dim in celebration of Earth Hour: a symbolic hour of darkness to remind people of the need to combat global warming. Tracey Quinn, a 28-year-old philanthropic consultant in Chicago, was planning to host her sister's surprise bachelorette party by candlelight. "Once you've been through a couple bachelorette parties, they're not very different from one another," she said. "So we thought this would be kind of cool."

At his Casa Diablo Gentlemen’s Club, soy protein replaces beef in the tacos and chimichangas; the dancers wear pleather, not leather. Many are vegans or vegetarians themselves.

Jenna Bush celebrated her final months as a single woman with a girls-only getaway at a private home in Boca Raton. "It was like a spa weekend. It was very low-key," a source tells PEOPLE magazine in this week's issue available on stands Friday. Her fiancé Henry Hager partied in Miami for his bachelor party the following weekend, reportedly staying out until 1:30 am.

According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, the star of "Blood Diamond", considered one of the world's most eligible bachelors, and "Entourage" cast member Kevin Connolly attended the late August pre-wedding party, which was held in celebration of the bride-to-be's upcoming September 12, 2007 walk down the aisle with Tom Breitling in Lake Como, Italy.
